Now performing live at the Tropicana nightly. There is hardly anything that fits this quotation better than the fascination of illusion. The secrecy, the inexplicability has always had an immense appeal on humankind. For more than 2000 years Illusion has been a well-known art form and therefore is considered as one of the oldest varieties of entertainment.
Jan Rouven is dedicated to this art form and has set new standards with his monumental illusions which are unique worldwide. He presents spectacular Illusions in a modern package, creating an intense atmosphere. Burning circular saws are racing towards the cuffed and chained illusionist at break-neck speed, an authentic turbine taken out of a jet airplane sucks him into the running rotor, a seven meter mine drill visibly drills through his torso – his tendency towards highly dangerous acts also gave him the nickname “The Man with Nine Lives”.
More and more well-known colleagues have become aware of Jan Rouven and support him on his way. His most prominent friend is Siegfried Fischbacher, the blonde half of the duo Siegfried & Roy who were awarded with the title “Magicians of the Century”. Siegfried himself is so impressed by the young illusionist´s talent that Jan Rouven is allowed to exclusively use some original props of the mega magicians in his show.
