Gene Turner’s interest in magic began as a hobby in 1976, while employed as an insurance salesman. In using magic to break the ice with his clients, he soon found that they wanted him to perform at parties, in addition to handling their insurance needs. By 1985, Gene found that he was successful enough with his magic to devote himself full time to his real love — performing. Thus began the rise of one of America’s premiere entertainers.
Since that time, the demand for Gene’s talents has grown to over 150 events each year, and includes performances for many Fortune 500 companies. He has wowed audiences at tradeshows, sales functions, awards banquets, stockholder meetings and celebrity receptions. Gene entertained for Bette Midler during her 48 th birthday party and literally “stole” the show.
He travels coast-to-coast yearly, displaying his own special brand of magic and humor. His incredible sleight-of-hand and hilarious comedy are nearly impossible to duplicate, and have made him one of the most sought after performers available today. His ability to create “Magic with a Message” has enabled him to perform for groups of all sizes and backgrounds. Throughout his professional career, Gene has appeared on countless television and radio programs to demonstrate his magical skills and humor. Recently he served as technical advisor for the movie “BulletProof Monk.”
