This group of very talented young people are in inspiration to the greater Las Vegas Community. The Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Mariachi Studies was organized to provide advanced mariachi education to Clark County School District students. Currently they are focusing only on a small performing ensemble of approximately 20-25 individuals. Thy hope to grow and add 150-200 students to our organization in the future. The Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Mariachi Studies (LVIAMS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to provide advanced level mariachi education to middle school and high school aged students in Southern Nevada through private instruction, workshops, and summer camps. The LVIAMS is also dedicated to keeping students on track to a post-secondary education at an institute of higher learning through tutoring, scholarship opportunities, and assistance with college applications.
